Volunteer Opportunities
There are a number of opportunities to volunteer at GAO. Below are some examples. Please complete our volunteer application if you’re interested. Note that due to liability, volunteers must be at least 16 and, if younger than 18, must have a parent or legal adult guardian with them at all times.

Turnouts (letting dogs out, cleaning out crates, washing breakfast bowls, doing laundry, cleaning the pen). This is currently our greatest need. We ask for a minimum commitment of one turnout – may take 2 or more hours depending on the number of dogs in the kennel – per month.
